our story!

We are Lawrence and Malaysia McClure. We alongside our two beautiful daughters, Emerie and Eliana, have been asked to serve at a local church in Munakata, Japan! We are so excited to embark on this new journey and would like to share our story with you!

The nations have always been a huge part of our life. We have been involved in international ministry for eight years, have done short term mission trips, led international bible studies, and were host parents to international university students. After completing a ten-month discipleship training program at our local church, the Lord called us to move to S. Korea to serve at a church in a small rural town that Malaysia had previously served at. We saw God move in miraculous ways through salvation, healing miracles, divine provision and much more as we engaged in community.

After having our second baby in 2017, the Lord brought us back to America, so we decided to focus on developing our young family and preparing our hearts to one day return to share the gospel of Jesus in Asia again. Now the opportunity is HERE!!

ABOUT OUR FAMILY

We have been married for six years and have two beautiful, gifted daughters, Emerie and Eliana, who are VERY active and love ballet. Currently, we live in Norman Oklahoma. I have been working as an engineer and Malaysia has been homeschooling our beautiful girls as well as growing her art business. We have been worshiping and serving faithfully at Antioch Community Church for a total of four years. During our time at Antioch, we have learned the essential value of community as it pertains to the success of the great commission. At Antioch we have lead a small discipleship group and have played a role in international student ministry through discipleship and service to them. We have also served on the worship team, children’s ministry, and have been a part of evangelistic efforts in our city through our church.

Our passion

We are passionate about making disciples who make disciples that pursue Jesus with passion through worship and a thorough understanding of the Bible as it pertains to knowing the heart of God. We are passionate about seeing the body of Christ around the world manifest the God-given gifts and dreams that were placed inside of them, allowing heaven to be made manifest on earth as it is declared in the Lord’s Prayer. We love the Father, Son and Holy Spirit with all of our heart and have committed the rest of our lives to serve the Kingdom of God as citizens of Heaven.
